Two minutes and three mosquito bites later, Glenn Suprovich found the problem.
Staring down into the window well of a house in the west end, it was a vertical crack in the cement foundation wall near the basement window. It looked to Suprovich, a contractor and owner of local waterproofing company Basement Systems, that water was possibly seeping through that crack into Lianne and Sam Unger's two-storey home.

If the rain does not stop soon, the city could be forced to delay road construction projects even further.
The city has seen rain 33 of the last 43 days, and it is taking its toll on the city road construction projects.
Bob Boutilier, general manager of transportation services, said they always allow for weather contingencies, but work has been hampered by rain.
